Commentary (English version)
This piece for tape and orchestra was inspired by the landscaping technique of borrowed scenery. The orchestra is a garden, and the soundscape-like tape is a landscape outside the garden, and I tried to compose a piece as if they were combined to form a (sound) landscape.

Commentary (Japanese version)
　題名の"Borrowed landscape"は借景のことです。これはテープとオーケストラのための作品ですが、オーケストラを庭園だと見立て、サウンドスケープ的に作られているテープは庭園外の風景と見立て、それらが組み合わさって一つの（音の）風景となるかのように作曲を試みました。
