Commentary (English version)

The "Scene" in the title refers to a "scene" in a movie or drama. As in the words "action scene" and "love scene", a scene is a series of actions in a certain place.
In this piece, I prepared several musical fragments with certain characteristics as "scenes" in advance, and connected them in a certain order. As the music progresses, the "scenes" become shorter and shorter, as if they were being "cut".

Commentary (Japanese version)

　題名の"Scene"は所謂映画やドラマにおける「シーン」のことです。アクションシーンやラブシーンといった言葉があるように、シーンとはある場所での一連の動作の一区切りのことを指します。
　この作品では「シーン」としてある特徴を持つ音楽的な断片を事前に複数用意し、それらをある順番で繋げていきます。音楽の進行とともに「シーン」はカットされるかのように短くなっていきます。
